Silo raced to a 15-2 advantage after one period which proved to be an omen of things to come in a stifling defensive effort.

Despite going 0-for-8 from the free throw line in the fourth quarter, Colbert managed to hold off a Calera comeback bid to post the Bryan County win.

The Leopards were up 12-3 after one period and 24-10 at halftime following an ice cold start by the Bulldogs. Calera, however, came storming back after intermission by outscoring Colbert by a 14-5 margin in the third quarter to narrow the gap to 29-24 heading into the final stanza.
