SE achieves record enrollment of more than 6,000 students

Southeastern Oklahoma State University is proud to announce another semester of record enrollment, as the student headcount for Fall 2025 officially went over 6,000 students today.

Southeastern Oklahoma State University Chorvettes performed with Foreigner during the their Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Celebration Tour in Durant on October 3 & 4 at Choctaw Casino. The Chorvettes sang with the band both nights on the band’s iconic hit, “I Want to Know What Love Is.

Choctaw Cultural Center Fall Festival is Oct. 17-18

Everyone is invited to welcome the arrival of autumn with the Choctaw Cultural Center’s two-day Fall Festival from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Friday, Oct. 17 and Saturday, Oct. 18. There will be demonstrations of traditional tribal activities and seasonal fun for the whole family.

Choctaw Nation to observe Indigenous Peoples Day

The Choctaw Nation will shine its own light on Indigenous Peoples Day this month. In 2024, the Choctaw Tribal Council officially recognized the second Monday of each October as Indigenous Peoples Day, also known as Chahta Nittak or Choctaw Day.

Jonah, kneel in prayer!

We noticed in our previous article that Jonah waited a LONG time before he finally humbled himself enough to pray. What is so interesting to me about that is the kind of prayer he offers after that long wait.

Southeastern Oklahoma State University dedicated the Liz Cobb McCraw Auditorium on the second floor of the Glen D. Johnson Student Union in a ceremony on September 22, honoring of one of the longest tenured and most impactful employees in the history of the Student Affairs division.

SE Career Services hosts annual All Majors Career Fair

A wide variety of industries were represented as 29 companies met with Southeastern Oklahoma State University students and alumni in the Hallie McKinney Ballroom on Wednesday for the annual All Majors Career Fair.
