Through the camera’s eye

The term “taking a shot” when used by early Oklahoma photographers had nothing to do with a gun or a shot glass of whiskey. Instead, it was meant to capture on film something interesting to the “shooter,” and Oklahoma was loaded with an arsenal of interesting targets to take aim at.

Bryan County Retired Educators ring in the school year

Retired educators still remember the brevity of summer break and the anticipation of meeting students in a new school year. Bryan County Retired Educators resumed meetings in September with a luncheon at Integration Station on Main Street.

SE Flight Team takes runner-up honors at Region IV SAFECON, advances to nationals

WACO, Texas – The Southeastern Oklahoma State University Flight Team took second place overall and first place in the flying events at the National Intercollegiate Flying Association’s Region IV SAFECON hosted by Texas State Technical College.
