Durant Kiwanis Club announces September and October Seniors of the Month

As each school year begins, Durant Kiwanis Club begins to announce Durant High Seniors of the Month and Bryan County Senors of the Month. These scholars are then eligible to receive a $1,000 scholarship to be awarded in May.

Beta Sigma Phi donates to United Way

The Gamma Psi chapter of Beta Sigma Phi made a $1,000 contribution to Bryan County United Way to help the agency with its charity work in the county. Beta Sigma Phi is a worldwide organization that has had a chapter in Durant since about 1954.
