Stuteville Chevrolet signs Statement of Support for Guard and Reserve members

Oklahoma Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve, a Department of Defense program, announced that Eric Stuteville, Owner of Stuteville Auto Group, signed a Statement of Support for the Guard and Reserve on May 17, 2024, during a ceremony presenting him the Department of Defense Patriot Award.

The picture says more about me than anyone will ever know

I was looking at one of my pictures I took in Salem, Mass., on June 3 of last year and it brought everything back. This wasn’t my first visit.

The Mission hosts summer bash

The Mission - I’m Possible Inc. hosted its second-annual summer bash Saturday at Carl Albert Park to raise funds that will help the organization assist the homeless in the community.

Museum has 20th anniversary open house

Durant Three Valley Museum opened at its current location in 2004 and a 20th anniversary celebration was held last week. The Durant Historical Society was founded in 1976 with the goal to preserve the history of southeast Oklahoma.

OSBI investigating Mead homicide

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is investigating a homicide that occurred in Mead. Hunter McKee, public information manager for OSBI, said the Bryan County Sheriff’s Office asked the OSBI to assist after 9 p.m.
