Merideth is retiring as superintendent of Durant Schools e _ ective July 1 Retiring Durant School District Superintendent Duane Merideth attended his last regular meeting of the Durant Board of Education on Monday.

Tourism meeting to be held June 3

George Washington University will be facilitating a town hall meeting to discuss tourism in southeastern Oklahoma, Choctaw Country Tourism announced. The meeting will be from 6-7:30 p.m.
