The Pride of Durant High School band finished its band camp last week and head band director Chris Gregg was honored for recently being inducted into the Oklahoma Bandmasters Association Hall of Fame.
Durant First United Methodist Church Children’s Ministry made a $500 donation to Feeding Hope last week which was from funds children raised during Vacation Bible School that were matched. Methodist Vacation Bible School raises funds for Feeding Hope

The recent Vacation Bible School by Durant First United Methodist Church raised funds for Feeding Hope and a check was presented to the organization last week. Mardi Dunn, Children’s Ministry Director at Durant UMC, said the children raised more than $250 which was matched for a total of $500.
