Funds presented to Robinson scholarships, booster club

The Will and Clara Robinson memorial scholarships and the Durant Athletic Booster Club received funds after the winner of a fundraiser donated it back. Brett Rogers, vice president of Durant Booster Club, said the club had the fundraiser at the pep rally last fall.

Boots and Badges blood drive collects blood for OBI

The second annual Boots and Badges blood drive was last month at the Donald W. Reynolds Community Center & Library where the Durant police and fire departments faced off to collect blood for Our Blood Institute.

Feeding Hope has annual gala

Feeding Hope, an organization that provides meals to the community, had its annual Night of Hope Gala banquet last month at Durant First United Methodist Church and plans for 2026 were announced.
