Jerry Bourne of Durant, Oklahoma, passed peacefully in his home on November 20, 2023 at the age of 52. He was born on December 19, 1970 to Donald Wilson and Juanita Kay (Hughes) Bourne. He married the love of his life Michele DeAnn Elledge on June 26, 2010 in Tishomingo, Oklahoma.
During his life, Jerry served as a Lead Process Technician for Flex-N-Gate, a role he performed with dedication until his retirement. He was a man of good humor who could tell jokes for hours. He was a man of boundless love, and he brought joy into the lives of those fortunate enough to know him. He was a man who found his greatest joy in the simple pleasures of life, whether hunting in the wilderness, fishing in the tranquil waters, or doting on his beloved grandchildren.
Jerry is survived by his loving wife, Michele Bourne of Durant, Oklahoma, his father, Don Bourne, and his mother, Juanita Bourne. His legacy lives on in his son, Daniel Osbourne and Courtney, his bonus daughter, Morgan Boulden of Fort Riley, Kansas, and his son-in-love, Wes Boulden. His bonus daughter, Macey Green of Benton, Arkansas, and son-in-love, Jaret Griffin, also mourn his loss. His memory will be cherished by his grandchildren, Will and Maddie Boulden of Fort Riley, Kansas, Nova Griffin of Benton, Arkansas, and Levi, Grant, and Wyatt Osbourne. His brother, Curt Bourne of Corvalis, Oregon, his niece, Emily Bourne, and his nephews, Benjamin Bourne and Michael Osbourne, also of Corvalis, Oregon, as well as his special aunts, uncles and cousins will all remember him with fondness.
Jerry was preceded in death by W.A. and Mable Hughes, and W.W. Bourne and Lily Jamison Bourne.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m., January 6, 2024, at Holmes-Coffey-Murray Funeral Home Chapel.
