Delana Mae Wingo

Delana Mae Wingo passed away Sunday, March 31st, 2024 at her home in Holdenville, Oklahoma at the age of 86.

Delana was born April 3rd, 1937 in Bennington, Oklahoma to James Trammell and Irene (Forbes) Trammell. Delana attended Bennington Public School. She married A.J. Wingo in Dallas, Texas in 1954. A.J. was in the U.S. Army so Delana lived all over the world as an Army wife. She was a homemaker. Delana enjoyed gardening, reading, music and loved spending time with her family.

Delana is preceded in death by her parents, husband A.J., son Jay Wingo, siblings; Otis Trammel, Glenna Ellis, Jennie Evans, and Alvin Trammell. She is survived by her daughter Debra Carrell of Seminole, 2 grandchildren; Christi Burnett, Carrie King, 7 great grandchildren; Caleb Burnett, Jacob Burnett, Matthew Burnett, Jay Herron, Andru Herron, Adam King and Luke King. Delana is survived by numerous other relatives and friends.

Memorial service will be 2:00pm, Saturday, April 13, 2024 at Bokchito Cemetery, Bokchito, Oklahoma with Brother Jim Parrish officiating.

Service are under the direction of Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home in Holdenville, Oklahoma
