John Michael Simmons age 57, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday April 22, 2024 in Burleson, Texas. John was born November 12, 1966 to Robert Lee (Bob) Simmons and Margie Colleen Springer.
He was a 1985 graduate of Caddo, Oklahoma High School. He married Kimberly Kay Viles on October 21, 1995. John was technician in the food industry for over 30 years. Which lead him to many places and many lifelong friendships. John had a talent that was unmatched, he never met a machine he couldn’t fix and he loved the challenge.
John was easy going, funny, loving and a good soul. He is desperately missed by his family and many friends.
John is preceded in death by his mother, Margie Colleen Springer, father, Robert Lee Simmons, brother, Brother David Simmons, sister-in-law, Brenda Simmons, and sisterin- law, Karen Simmons.
John is survived by his beloved wife, Kimberly Kay Simmons, daughter, Kamber Kaylyn Carter, and fiancé, Terry Wayne Conder, son, Dillon Henderson and wife, Brandi, grandson, Atticus Lynn Bryant, granddaughter, Remi Henderson, sister, Mary Maurer and husband, Gary, brother, Dan Simmons and wife, Terry, brother, James (Jimbo), numerous nieces and nephews, and a plethora of friends and neighbors.
A celebration of his life will be held on May 11, 2024 from 1-3 at the Senior Citizen Building in Colbert, Oklahoma.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider donating to the Go Fund Me has been established to help with bills, as John was the sole provider, or consider making a donation to the American Heart Association.
