Bike rodeo teaches children bicycle safety

The Durant Sustainability Coalition and Durant Trails & Open Space teamed up on May 16 to host a Bike Rodeo at Alliance Health. DSC said this was a fun, hands-on event packed with everything young cyclists need to ride safe and ride smart.

Southeastern has spring commencement

Southeastern Oklahoma State University held its 2026 spring commencement ceremonies on Friday, May 8, and Saturday, May 9 at Bloomer Sullivan Arena. On Friday, May 8, master’s degrees and certificates were conferred at 6 p.m., and Saturday, May 9, baccalaureate degrees were awarded at 9 a.m.
