On Aug. 28, Union Pacific launched its 10-state “Big Boy” No. 4014 Heartland of America Tour offering the general public and media an opportunity to witness history in motion as the legendary steam engine chugs its way across the Midwest and South, including Oklahoma.

A meeting was held last week at the Bryan County Community Building at the fairgrounds to educate the public about two sales tax propositions that will be on the November ballot.
