‘Big Boy’ locomotive to stop in Durant

On Aug. 28, Union Pacific launched its 10-state “Big Boy” No. 4014 Heartland of America Tour offering the general public and media an opportunity to witness history in motion as the legendary steam engine chugs its way across the Midwest and South, including Oklahoma.

‘Two Brothers’ sculpture dedicated at SE Legacy Plaza

A sculpture that shows the unity among Southeastern Oklahoma State University and the Choctaw and Chickasaw tribes was dedicated during a ceremony Oct. 4 at Legacy Plaza on the Southeastern campus.
