Streets closed/restricted for Colton’s Main Street Run

Colton’s Main Street Run will take place on Saturday, Oct. 19 from 8 a.m. to approximately 11:30 a.m. More than 1000 runners will be participating in the event. Drivers should plan for delays, consider alternate routes, and use extreme caution near these intersections and streets.

BrucePac recalls products due to possible listeria contamination

WASHINGTON D.C. – BrucePac, a Durant establishment, is recalling approximately 9,986,245 pounds of ready-to-eat (RTE) meat and poultry products that may be adulterated with Listeria monocytogenes, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced.

Bokchito receives Small Municipality Sewer System of the Year award

Oklahoma Municipal Assurance Group’s (OMAG) Sanitary Sewer System of the Year awards recognize outstanding municipal sewer systems across Oklahoma. Presented annually at the Sanitary Sewer Expo, there are two award categories: one for large municipalities and one for small towns.
