Five Durant Lion baseball players earned All-District recognition while five others were honorable mention choices in voting of District 5A-4 coaches after finishing fourth in league play.
Seniors Holdan Robinson, Cole Robbins, Lucas McClure and Colton Poore were joined on the All-League group by freshman Graham McIlvoy.
Robbins led the Lions with a .414 batting average which included nine doubles, three triples and one home run.
He also drove in 24 and had a team-best 34 runs scored along with 15 stolen bases.
Robinson notched a .394 mark at the plate with 11 doubles, four homers and a teamhigh 38 RBI. McClure batted .321 while adding seven doubles, three triples, a home run and 14 driven in.
That trio also keyed the DHS pitching staff with Robbins leading the way with 47 2/3 innings, contributing a 4-4 record with one save, 49 strikeouts and 2.05 earned run average.
McClure posted a 3-2 record in 36 innings with 41 strikeouts and 3.69 ERA with Robinson tossing 18 1/3 frames with 15 strikeouts and a 7.25 ERA.
Also at the plate, McIlvoy was third on the squad with a .382 average, a team-best .515 on-base percentage, 12 doubles, two triples and 26 runs batted in. Poore hit at a .280 clip with four doubles and 11 RBI.
The honorable mention selections included Jared Avalos, Keyvan Dollar, Maddux Arnold, Jackson Williams and Eli McClure.
Avalos notched a .344 batting average with three doubles and 19 RBI, Arnold hit .222 with four doubles, one triple, one homer and 13 batted in, Williams contributed a .290 offensive average, three doubles and nine RBI with McClure finishing at .321 with a pair of doubles, three home runs and 16 driven in.
Williams also tossed in 28 innings on the mound and a pair of wins with 21 strikeouts and 5.25 ERA.
Dollar’s biggest contributions came on the mound as well with 23 innings and two triumphs, adding 11 strikeouts and 7.00 ERA.
Robbins, Robinson and Eli McClure were also Class 5A All Star picks.
