The Lady Lions claimed the third place award with a 48-44 win over Chickasha while the Lions used a late comeback to knock off the OKC Storm, 59-54, in the consolation finals.

Southeastern posts road sweep at Ouachita

For the first time since the start of Great American Conference play, Southeastern came through with a league sweep by winning both women’s and men’s games on Saturday at Ouachita Baptist. In the women’s contest, the Savage Storm women snapped a nine-game league losing skid with a 60-55 victory.

Caddo 66, Rock Creek 33 (girls) Second-ranked Caddo held a slim 13-8 lead after one quarter before erupting in a 23-5 second period flurry to take complete command. Jaycie Nichols was almost impossible for Rock Creek to stop as she poured in 10 in the first stanza and another 11 points in the second to single handedly outscore the Lady Mustangs 21-13 before halftime.
