Time capsule buried at city hall

A time capsule was buried June 14 in front of the Big Peanut at Durant City Hall and this follows the unearthing of the time capsule last year that was buried during Durant’s Centennial celebrations that were celebrated a year late in 1973.

Early voting has started for primary election

Early voting for the June 18 primary election began Thursday, June 13, and continues Friday from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. and Saturday 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Bryan County Election Board Office located in the courthouse, 402 W. Evergreen St.
