Early voting has started for primary election

Early voting for the June 18 primary election began Thursday, June 13, and continues Friday from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. and Saturday 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Bryan County Election Board Office located in the courthouse, 402 W. Evergreen St.

Man charged in Choctaw parking garage homicide

A man died from injuries received during an altercation in the Choctaw Casino and Resort Sky Tower parking garage, Sunday evening authorities said. The victim was identified as 51-year-old Phillip Wingfield of Atoka who died from stab wounds, according to a court document.
