Caddo runs gauntlet again for 8th softball title

Although it was the closest of any of their slow pitch state championships, last week’s fourth straight Class 3A crown was just as special to say the least for the Caddo Lady Bruins who tied state history in the process.

Colbert advances to semis in state tourney return

Returning to the state tournament for the first time since 2013, the Colbert Leopards made a solid showing in reaching the Class 2A Division 2 semifinals last week.

Host of Lions qualify for 5A State Track Meet

Durant finished with eight individual state qualifiers as well as four relay teams during a strong showing at the Class 5A regional track meet last week at Tulsa Union. Six of the individual qualifiers came in the girls’ division as the Lady Lions claimed seventh in the team standings.

SE baseball, softball bow out of GAC tourneys

The Southeastern baseball notched one win in three contests while the softball team bowed out in its opener as each competed in the Great American Conference tournaments to close the spring season last week.
