Battling the second-ranked team in the nation, you definitely need just about every break including turnovers to pull off an upset. The Southeastern defense forced a couple of those miscues but the offense gave it back three times which proved crucial in a 35-7 Harding victory last week.

Lady Bruins take Class A state runner-up

The quest for a fifth straight fastpitch state championship came up just a bit short for the Caddo Lady Bruins as they finished as Class A state runner- up last weekend. Caddo stopped Waukomis, 6-0, in the state opener and then outlasted Hominy, 1-0, in a 16-inning semifinal marathon.
