Caddo and Rock Creek each captured Class A district championships with emphatic victories over visiting foes Saturday night. The top-ranked Caddo girls blasted Savanna by an 88-35 count and the secondrated boys did likewise for a 90-22 throttling of the Bulldogs.

Durant’s high school wrestling cruised to dual victories over Davis in both boys and girls division last week inside the Robinson Family Gymnasium. The Lady Lions notched a 36-11 verdict while the DHS boys were 54-18 winners as well.

Caddo 73, Hartshorne 62 (boys) Sophomore stalwart Beck Willingham tallied a doubledouble and Caddo rode an early lead to an impressive win over Class 2A’s eighth-ranked Hartshorne. Caddo was up 20-11 after one stanza and maintained the lead throughout despite a couple of Miner threats.
